Viorica is a high school senior who spends far too much time on the Internet. When she isn't online, she spends her time acting, writing, and fangirling various dead people.
- at 00:49 on 27-07-2010 link the ones I can remember were one companion who always seemed to lose out to Rose and Donna whenever the Doctor was having some angsting about past companions, that guy who always seemed to be on the verge of full companion status but never quite got the promotion The former is Martha, the latter is Mickey. At the end of Tennant's run, we find out that they got married, despite never having been shown interacting, and the fact that Martha already had a fiance. In fact, one might get the impre...
- at 19:32 on 21-07-2010 link IT LOOKS SO AWESOME.
- at 03:21 on 18-07-2010 link The regender machine doesn't seem to recognize me, so I remain Viorica. On the other hand, my Star Trek article is now about "Kimberly's niece Peggy and her girlfriend Alexandra." Also, it was written by Davida Gerrold.
- at 17:30 on 04-07-2010 link Kal Penn responds to Joel Stein.
- at 03:27 on 27-06-2010 link I LOVED the finale. Love, love, loved it. It's so nice not to be drowned in drowed in angst syrup, for a change.
- at 19:42 on 21-06-2010 link Smart Bitches Trashy Books reviews "Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
- at 12:52 on 18-06-2010 link I fail at everything. I have no idea who any of those people are. Lena Headey was in the Sarah Connor TV show, Tamzin Merchant was on "The Tudors," Harry Lloyd's from "Robin Hood," Nikolaj Coster-Waldau had a role in "Bent," and Jamie Campbell-Bower was in "Sweeney Todd" (and is engaged to Bonnie Wright.) Why I remember these things, I don't know. :P As for Sean Bean, he's i this really cool-looking movie about the Black Plague, but it doesn't seem to be playing anywhere near me, so I can't ...
- at 02:02 on 18-06-2010 link Also Sean Bean. SQUEEEEEE. Not to mention Lena Headley, Tamzin Merchant, Harry Lloyd, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Jamie Campbell Bower . . . . . . yeah, I'm excited. And I still haven't read the books!
- at 18:35 on 13-06-2010 link Ah, so it was an actor problem then? (I mean, aside from the script condining his douchey Nice Guy behaviour)
- at 15:18 on 13-06-2010 link For those who watched the episode, do you think that they were intentionally making Craig a Nice Guy, or did they think that he was sweet just too shy to tell Sophie how he felt? If it's the latter, I can see what they were going for, but . . . he just came off as creepy. And I can see the sweet and shy trope working- I quite like it when it's well-handled- but it didn't work here.
- at 10:07 on 11-06-2010 link 6 Things Red Dead Redemption Taught Me About (Hating) Women. For a comedy website, Cracked is remarkably feminist-friendly. . . . I'm going to go ponder how sad a statement that is.
- at 00:21 on 08-06-2010 link Are you sure about that? I got this.
- at 01:53 on 06-06-2010 link It may have been because of the awful overbearing music Tht was the one part that I felt was out-of-place. They usually use instrumentals- why the pop music all of a sudden? Was it ever explained how the Ood knew the Doctor was going to die? It`s been awhile since I watched any Ood-centric episodes, but don`t they make several prophecies? I always assumed it was just an ability they had.
- at 00:12 on 06-06-2010 link I only caught the second half of tonight's, but I really liked it. I'd probably be the same if I got to go back in time and meet Oscar Wilde. (Only instead of "Don't kill yourself, you're really successful!" it would be "THAT LAWSUIT IS A BAD IDEA, OSCAR.") There was a bit afterwards on the Confidential I really liked as well- where Moffat talked about the way they handled depression/mental illness while still being aware that young kids were watching. To me, the episode had more emotiona...
- at 20:09 on 05-06-2010 link Oh, shit. Is it possible to edit comments, or should I just delete/repost with the tags?
- at 19:30 on 05-06-2010 link Although obviously we're not that far into it yet. Yeah, you probably haven't gotten to the bit where Thomas Wyatt whines about how she wouldn't sleep with him, but supposedly tortured him by describing all the sex she had with other men in graphic detail. And the constant reiteration of her "sharp teeth" and the suggestion that she goes around slapping and pinching her ladies-in-waiting for fun and the fact that she refuses to stick up for reformers, which is blatantly inaccurate . ....
